I never would have believed it, unless I had tried it myself - growing plants in water instead of soil. It is much easier and has many advantages. Check out the link below to get started. One plant that my husband starts each year is the sweet potato vine. It is a gorgeous thick green plant that grows right before your eyes. Before you know it, you have a full bed of green foliage.

Time to get outside!
Well it is that time of year again, when I am beckoned to come outside by chirping birds and long awaited sunshine. The grass needs fertilizing, and the flower beds need some tender loving care. Now if I had only done all this before the snow hit! But no worries, I would rather be outside working than inside cleaning:)
